Communications embraces documents, posters, articles, seminars and social media. Develop communications strategies to help build organizational awareness among potential donors and volunteers. Community managers can help build awareness via social media posts and blog sites. We also need communications volunteers who can work with our partners to support them at events like mission fairs and outreach activities.
We need communicators who can speak and write in Spanish and other languages found in the Bay Area.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create clear, distinctive messaging

Experience in handling press inquiries

Experience training others in communication skills
Language abilities, particularly in Spanish and Chinese languages
Typical Time Commitment
From a few hours a month to several hours. When there are rush projects there may be spells of intense full day work to produce materials for a special event.
