Volunteer Management helps new SpiritCare volunteers find appropriate Faith Leaders and Team Leaders to work with. They may also help train volunteers before they go on assignments and help arrange Volunteer Appreciation events.
As SpiritCare grows, Volunteer Managers can help recruit people to serve in specific roles. They may attend events to attract new groups who can visit residences.
Excellent people skills and communication abilities
Experience in recruitment, either professionally or as a volunteer
Knowledge of Bay Area institutions that support non-profit volunteering
Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding volunteers in the areas in which SpiritCare operates
A creative mind that can dream up ways to creatively attract diverse teams who can serve the many different cultures and communities in the San Francisco Bay Area
