It helps if you have experience in visiting care homes and helping with religious services, but it's not essential as ongoing supervision is provided by a Faith Leader or Team Leader. Beyond that, we highlight key requirements for each position.

Application Process
This section is for those who want to serve SpiritCare regularly, e.g. once a month.
- Review the volunteer positions and decide which you would like to apply for
- Decide which geographic area you would like to serve in
- Fill in the application form and submit it
- A board member will give you an initial phone interview
- Successful candidates will attend a free Volunteer Orientation Workshop where you will learn more about your role and how to interact with the elderly and their carers.
- Based on your skills, interest and experience, SpiritCare will work with you to find projects and assignments. Most likely you will start off with a once-a-month visit to a single facility. There you will get to know a SpiritCare team leader and meet other participants.
