From the Peninsula Girls' Chorus
Our board member Aki Amai, currently director of music at St Catberine of Siena School in Burlingame, and director of Grace Notes Community Music School has been an accompanist for the Peninsula Girls' Chorus. The performance here, of John Lennon's "Imagine" here is without accompaniment. The song starts off by imagining what it would be like with no heaven or hell, with just the sky above us. It then goes on to imagine there are no countries, no religion, no possessions, no greed and no hunger. The vision is of a united world. We can imagine and dream, but we know there are countries, religion, possessions, greed and, sadly, hunger. The song imagines peace and sharing. SpiritCare also brings peace and sharing to care communities, inspired by Jesus Christ and Christians through the years. The song says "I hope some day you'll join us and the world will be as one". We hope you will join SpiritCare and help unite people, both young and old.
Thank you to the Peninsula Girls Chorus and Karyn Silva for this performance. Thank you Ana & Ana, Atiya, Elena, Elise, Ereni, Maeley, Maya, Mira, Rosie and Tori. Share it with the seniors in your life.

Here's a video to share with your friends, family and care community residents.
It was made by a brother, Nate, and sister, Noel, who hope you enjoy the antics of their family pet, Cody. Let them know your reaction by commenting below. Cody loves to snuggle. He can make his own bed and loves to nap in the sun. A ball of joy, he loves to run in the yard and tear up paper towels. Nate and Noel end with a prayer to you all. |
